The Oath is the seventh episode of Part 3 of Trollhunters.
Official Synopsis
With the future of two worlds at stake, the team races to find Merlin's Tomb -- and the Staff of Avalon -- before Gunmar can get his hands on it.
Summary
Now that Claire has found a way to get to Merlin's tomb, the Trollhunters have to prepare for their biggest quest yet. As they head to Merlin's tomb, Jim realizes that he will have to destroy his amulet so he can use the jewel inside of it to power an ancient gyre that can help them get there. As soon as they arrive, they run into an unfriendly confrontation with Angor Rot and Gunmar. Draal's brainwashing has also worn off, but the battle also has some dire consequences.

- Draal gets turned to stone by Gumar and Angor, making him the third character to be permanently killed off. The first being Bular, then Vendel, and excluding AAARRGGHH!! and Angor Rot.
