Physical Description[]

Phil is a heavyset, elderly African-American man with grey hair, bushy eyebrows and a friendly countenance. He wears a dark grey shirt with light grey stripes and black trousers.

Personality[]

Phil is open, relaxed and friendly. He also seems to be a bit contemporary for his age, seen when he enjoyed the Battle of the Bands, saying that the music was fun. He is also immensely fond of chess, often playing with Nancy and Jerry. However, he does not like anyone referencing to his age, as shown when he snapped at Varvatos when he called him an old geezer.

Tactician: Phil claims that, while he was in the military, he had some knowledge of strategy, which he often uses for chess.

Mortality: As a human, Phil possesses a mortal body, so is therefore highly vulnerable to any forms of injuries, sicknesses, and death.

Nancy Domzalski[]

Phil and Nancy seem to get along with each other. They even briefly dated each other until they eventually called it off, but remained close friends.

Phil and Jerry seem to have a good friendship with each other and are rarely seen apart.

Varvatos Vex[]

At first, Phil seemed a little weirded out by Varvatos' intense behavior. However, as the series progresses, they seem to grow quite close.

Phil finds the colonel deplorable after she attacks everyone in Arcadia.
