The Sigil of Angor Rot (or the Mark of Angor Rot) is a curse that gives Angor the ability to steal the Sword of Daylight from Trollhunters and use it against them.
Many refer this mark as "a fate worse than death".
History
In "Blinky's Day Out", Angor creates a few golems to distract Claire, Toby, and a humanized Blinky while he lures and captures Jim in a stasis trap. Helpless and unable to move or fight, Angor begins painting his mark on Jim's face while taking most of his powers, as well as his command of Daylight.
Whenever Angor and Jim encounter each other, the troll assassin often pinches his sword and tries to use it against him. Luckily, Jim realizes that the mark doesn't extend to his additional weapons, like his newfound glaives and shield.
Later in "Something Rotten This Way Comes", Jim (under the guidance of Stricklander) cuts Angor's eye so he can use it to ward off his magics. When he places the eye into the Amulet of Daylight, Jim is able to counteract the mark and regain his command over Daylight from Angor.
