Gaylen ruled as a being of immense power, until he was defeated of course in the battle that shook the universe itself. And Gaylen perished sadly, but some Akiridions believe that his core remained and contained the latent powers of a god. Whoever uses his core has the power to create and destroy entire planets.
Stuart[src]

Gaylen's Core was Gaylen's life core which possessed the latent powers of a god, capable of creating and destroying entire planets.

The core was most likely destroyed by Aja and Krel Tarron, along with General Morando, when he planned on using it to destroy and rule the entire universe in his own creation.

Description[]

Gaylen's core is a lightning shaped life core of a great size, much more than of any other known Akiridion, besides Seklos. It is a glowing purplish-lavender in color. In its original uncut state, it was housed in a diamond-shaped gemstone of the same color.

History[]

The Legend of Gaylen's Core[]

In the ancient time, an Akiridion known as Gaylen ruled as a being of immense power, creating Akiridion-5 with the strength of his core. However, as his power grew, his greed did as well, becoming a threat to the entire galaxy. However, in the battle that shook the universe, Gaylen was destroyed by Seklos, who sacrificed her own core to create a Cannon that pierced through Gaylen.

However, Gaylen's Core survived, containing within it the latent power of destroying entire planets. The royalty of Akiridion-5 took the responsibility of guarding the core from the wrong hands. However, after learning of the Zeron Brotherhood's intent of claiming it for an unknown benefactor, King Fialkov and Queen Coranda soon realized that Akiridion-5 was not a safe place to hide it. Thus, both traveled to the distant planet of Earth, where they encountered and entrusted the core to the Trollhunter, Kanjigar, and Vendel. The core was placed in a secret chamber in the Deep beneath Heartstone Trollmarket until the day when House Tarron must return to reclaim it.

3Below (Part Two)[]

After entering the memories of the kings and discover the location of Gaylen's Core, Aja, Krel and Varvatos are guided by Toby and AAARRRGGHH!!! to Trollmarket to consult the Soothscryer about its exact location. The spirit of Kanjigar takes them to the chamber where the core was kept sheltered from a large crystal on the top of a tower. However, General Morando, who also had seen the memories as well, arrives with his Omens to claim the core for himself. After a fight, Morando narrowly manages to take the core before the Tarrons.

Morando takes Gaylen's Core to Area 49-B where Kubritz uses the neurometer weapons to free the core of the crystal. Morando proceeds to take control of the power of the core to become the new god that reigns the universe, although scientists claim that it will take him several hours to integrate the nucleus in his biology.

After assimilating the core completely, Morando becomes a giant of absolute power. However, Stuart manages to manufacture a new Seklos' cannon. Unfortunately, it required the sacrifice of two royal life cores to make it work. The royal siblings and their allies did everything to stop Morando, but upon failing, the newly regenerated King Fialkov and Queen Coranda sacrifice their cores to charge the cannon and kill Morando, likely destroying Gaylen's Core in the process.

Trivia[]

  • According to ancient Akiridion text, Gaylen's Core was originally hidden on Earth. It is later discovered that Fialkov and Coranda entrusted Gaylen's Core to Kanjigar to keep it from the wrong hands after it was nearly stolen by the Zeron Brotherhood (hired to do so by an unknown benefactor).
