Becoming Part 1- The amulet begins to move again
This article contains canon information corresponding to the Tales of Arcadia franchise. That means all information in this article is true and has appeared/been validated officially on-screen.

Enrique Nuñez is a minor character of Trollhunters.

He is the son of Javier and Ophelia Nuñez and the baby brother of Claire Nuñez's who was briefly swapped for a Changeling named NotEnrique.

Official Biography

"Enrique is Claire's little brother. Swapped with a Changeling by goblins working for Gunmar, he is currently being held in the Darklands, whilst the Changeling, NotEnrique, takes his place in Arcadia. His parents are unaware of the swap and Claire is the only family member who knows the truth."

History

Backstory

When Enrique was born, Claire gave her baby brother Snoozy Snooze (the plush bunny she grew up with) and takes care of him when their parents have to go to work.

Trollhunters (Part One)

Taken to the Darklands

In "To Catch A Changeling", Claire invites Jim over to her house to help him study for Algebra class since he's flunking. He then meets little Enrique on his bouncy seat. Jim shows Enrique his Amulet of Daylight, which makes Enrique take a liking to Jim, even Claire takes note of this.

After Jim destroyed the previous Changeling, Gladys Groe, Enrique was kidnapped by the Goblins of Gunmar and replaced by the Changeling, NotEnrique. Enrique was taken to the Darklands where he spent the night in the Nursery under the care of the Goblins along with the other Changelings' Familiars.

During most of the second half of Part One, Jim, Claire and Toby look for a way to enter the Darklands to rescue him, but at the risk of releasing Gunmar, they first decide to gather the Triumbric Stones in order to destroy him once and for all.

NotEnrique takes his place in the Nuñez family and offers to show Claire that the real Enrique is safe with his ability to project his image through his saliva.

Trollhunters (Part Two)

Rescued by Jim

Eventually, Jim was able to bring him back at the last minute, but after the Troll Tribunal destroyed Killahead Bridge thinking Gunmar was escaping, Jim got captured by his army.

Throughout the rest of the series, Enrique is rarely seen and/or mentioned.

Physical Appearance

Enrique is a small baby with freckles, brown eyes, and (unlike the rest of his family) blond hair.

Personality

Enrique doesn’t have much of a personality, since he’s just a baby, but he's shown to be playful and friendly to his family, especially towards Jim.
