Area 49-B is a minor (later major) location that appears in 3Below. It's a top secret military base that captures aliens and dissects them.
Colonel Kubritz was the commanding officer of this base, until she ultimately joined Morando's cause and became a rogue "terrorist"; Kubritz was was eventually killed by Morando after she betrayed him.
