A list of AAARRRGGHH!!!'s relationships with certain characters throughout the franchise.
Friends/Allies[]
Toby Domzalski[]
Toby is a close friend of AAARRRGGHH!!!, often referring to each other as each other "Wingman". Toby and AAARRRGGHH!!! became friends almost instantly. When AAARRRGGHH!!! decided he would leave with the Krubera Tribe, Toby seemed very devastated and that was enough to convince AAARRRGGHH!!! to stay.
In the series finale, when Toby is asked to remain in Arcadia to keep it safe, AAARRRGGHH!!! decides to stay and help, showing his undying loyalty to his "wingman". Toby is like a brother to AAARRGGHH!!.
Also, in "Rise of the Titans" Toby helped Jim defeat Bellroc (at the cost of his life), And after Toby said his goodbyes to the team, AAARRRGGHH!!!, sad, broken angry, lost and powerless broke down in tears and smashed a truck, due to the death of his wigman (before being gently calmed by Blinky). AAARRRGGHH!!! was devastated by Toby's death.
Blinky Galadrigal[]
AAARRRGGHH!!! and Blinky are very close friends. They are rarely seen apart. In the past, however, when AAARRRGGHH!!! became a good troll, Blinky didn't really trust him at first, but over time they became close partners, almost like family. When AAARRRGGHH!!! was turned to stone, Blinky was shown to be incredibly devastated and kept his remains in the library, and was overjoyed when AAARRRGGHH!!! was revived.
By the end of the series, AAARRRGGHH!!! choses to stay with Toby in Arcadia, which saddened Blinky a little, yet happily understood his reasons and promise to reunite someday.
Jim Lake Jr.[]
AAARRRGGHH!!! is one of Jim's mentors and is often seen casually sparing with him as a part of Jim's training from Blinky. Jim was deeply affected by AAARRRGGHH!!!'s sacrifice and his death was the reason why Jim decided to go into the Darklands alone to keep his other friends from getting hurt. However, Jim is surprised and overjoyed when he learns that AAARRRGGHH!!! is alive.
AAARRRGGHH!!! didn't like Jim being half-troll at first, but then he realized that he's became just as wild and strong as him and accepted it.
In Wizards, AAARRRGGHH!!! is just as devastated as everyone else when Jim is corrupted by the ruthless, undead King Arthur. He was completely reluctant to fight against his friend, but had no other choice as he pleaded Jim to fight Arthur's control (to no avail). In the end, AAARRRGGHH!!! is overjoyed when Jim is revived back to his old self.
Claire Nuñez[]
Claire and AAARRRGGHH!!! do not interact as much alone, but it is clear that they are very close.
Vendel[]
AAARRRGGHH!!! and Vendel have a close relationship, despite the former perviously being a Gumm-Gumm. When AAARRRGGHH!!! was nicked by Creeper's Sun poison and slowly turned to stone, he trust Vendel enough to help him and, in turn, Vendel promised to keep this a secret from his friends to keep them from worrying.
AAARRRGGHH!!! was saddened to learn about Vendel's death (but became enraged when he learns that it was Usurna who killed him to prevent him from clearing Jim's name).
Aja and Krel Tarron[]
AAARRRGGHH!!! has a good relationship with Aja and Krel, despite them being entirely different species he's never encountered in a millennia.
Varvatos Vex[]
AAARRRGGHH!!! and Varvatos are on good terms, mostly due to both of them being warriors and determined to protect their loved ones from harm.
Luug[]
As shown in "D'aja Vu", AAARRRGGHH!!! and Luug had a playful relationship while they've known each other for a brief time.
It is likely that after he and Toby rediscover that Aja and Krel are aliens, he still retained a playful relation with their dog.
Nari[]
Although they don't interact with each other very much they appear to have a friendly terms.
Douxie Casperian[]
Although despite the two not having interactions in the previous series, in Rise of the Titans, the two begins to interact with each other more often, especially, when the two, including Nomura, are battling Nari's titan.
Enemies[]
Gunmar[]
In the past, AAARRRGGHH!!! was once Gunmar's general of his horde. However, during the Battle of Killahead, AAARRRGGHH!!! betrayed his former superior after seeing the error of his ways and joins the good trolls.
In Part Two, AAARRRGGHH!!! and Gunmar fight each other while the former tries to protect Jim. Gunmar offers to use his Decimaar Blade to corrupt his former general, to which he denies.
AAARRRGGHH!!! is one of the only trolls who can fight Gunmar head on, yet like other trolls, he cannot kill him.
Bular[]
As Gunmar's former general, AAARRRGGHH!!! knew Bular. During the Battle of Killahead, AAARRRGGHH!!! betrays Bular by preventing him from killing Kanjigar, sparing the future Trollhunter's life.
When they confront each other in "The Battle of Two Bridges", Bular taunts AAARRRGGHH!!!'s pacifism and calls him a "pet". When he tires to use his last moments to kill Toby, AAARRRGGHH!!! was quick to defend his wingman and shatters Bular, breaking his pacifist oath.
Angor Rot (formerly)[]
AAARRRGGHH!!! sees Angor Rot as his enemy, no doubt. He especially hated the assassin who tried to kill his wingman while he took the blow for him, sacrificing his life to protect Toby from Angor. When Angor was revived by Morgana, AAARRRGGHH!!!'s first instinct was to attack him (only to be held back by a brainwashed Draal).
However, AAARRRGGHH!!! was just as shocked as his friends when he betrays Morgana during the war.
Dictatious Galadrigal (formerly)[]
Like Blinky, AAARRRGGHH!!! was shocked to learn that Dictatious was alive and working as Gunmar's advisor.
However, in Part Three, when Gunmar discovers Dictatious fraundlance and sentences him into execution, AAARRRGGHH!!! was quick to intervene and save Blinky's brother, despite the fact that he kidnapped them both and tried to kill them, as well as betrayed the good trolls just to follow Gunmar and save his own skin. AAARRRGGHH!!! allows Dictatious to escape Trollmarket to warn his friends because he can speak bigger words than he can.
Queen Usurna[]
At first, AAARRRGGHH!!! was respectful to his former queen. Though he chose to go with her and the Krubera to stay alive from his sickness, he agreed to go with them only after he stops Gunmar.
However, after learning that Usurna was working for Gunmar all along and even killed Vendel in cold blood, AAARRRGGHH!!! instantly became enraged by this act of betrayal by his kind's treacherous queen.
When they confront each other one last time, Usurna revealed that Gunmar never kidnapped him, but she rather handed him over to Gunmar willingly when he was a youngling, much to his horror and disgust. AAARRRGGHH!!! accused Usurna of not caring about the Krubera at all, only herself, and she responded that she is the Krubera, emphasizing her arrogance and confirming AAARRRGGHH!!!'s accusation, which, along with her remorseless confession, is enough for the other Krubera to turn against her and push her into the bog to drown.
As he watched Usurna die in the muck, AAARRGGHH!!! expressed some sadness, indicating that a part of AAARRRGGHH!!! had yet cared about his former queen. Although, this could just be him expressing disappointment after learning what Usurna has done and was well-beyond redemption.
Morgana[]
Like other good trolls, AAARRRGGHH!!! fears Morgana and understands how much of a threat she poses to humans and trollkind alike.
General Morando[]
Although AAARRRGGHH!!! has only confronted Morando a few times, it's clear that they are enemies.
