Yes, she's truly dead. She drowned in a mug bog, presumably because of her large structure which rendered her unable to swim properly.
I honestly don't know what to expect from this game.
I mean, despite it being a side-scrolling perspective, they sure do try to make the graphics LOOK as 3D as possible. Honestly, I admit that the visuals are very pretty. So it's not really the franchise game I was expecting (and yes, I expected an open-world type of game, too), but more or less, I think it's not going to be as bad as others think. I would play it, just because I want to experience the story plot. I just hope the story in the game will be good though, and exploring other areas and planets that have been mentioned, but never appeared in the series so far.
And then there's the Go-Go Sushi mini-game (the very game Toby and AAARRRGGHH!!! play together). Honestly, even though it'll potentially be rigged or something like that, it would be cool to experience what one of my my favorite duos play together.
Or if you meant when it will be released, del Toro said early August.
Since it's been pretty obvious that it'll have just one season, it'll most likely take place right after the Part Two finale of 3Below.

Yeah, I'll have to admit, 3Below had a fairly good story plot and more character depth, but not nearly as good as Trollhunters with the whole "Hero's Journey" scenario.
I still wonder how the Wizards story arc will be... but I guess it'll still be worth the wait to find out later.
We know that it's this summer. It was supposed to come out by the end of last year, but it was delayed to this year for unknown reasons. The creator said it was coming out sometime this July, but then said it was pushed back to August.
So honestly, the creators are being totally vague when concerned with an official release. We just know it's coming out this summer, but they won't tell us when.
"Douxie Pushes the Broom"? Sounds like a classic apprentice cleaning a master's workspace with magic. I wonder what it would sound like in the show.

The dude's new here. He's more intrigued about the original book Trollhunters was adapted from than the actual series.
Honestly, del Toro makes the vaguest notices we try to understand more clearly, like he's leaving us a riddle to make us come up with theories like these.
Vague or not, I think it's best we wait until then. We still get what we get. And he did say "there will be unexpected (joyful) things to come..."
Or, you know. What if the first and last episodes are one hour long.
You know like (1-2), 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, (11-12)? It'd still technically be like one episode less, but it would make sense if they made the pilot and series finale one hour long instead of split into parts.
Like "Becoming: Parts 1 and 2", "The Eternal Knight: Parts 1 and 2", "Terra Incognita: Parts 1 and 2", and "A Glorious End: Parts 1 and 2"
Instead of being parts, the pilot and finale in Wizards will be an hour (or more) long episodes.
This could mean a lot of things, but he DID say we will learn more about James Lake Sr. in the FINAL season.
I probably believe he means EXACTLY what he means, or he might be referring to just releasing this season before more to come later next year or so. I hope...
But I'm no seer. We just have to wait and see when the first season does release.
Well, we don't know what'll happen in the future. We'll just have wait and see as it flies by. Besides, we're not exactly seers here.
Yes, I'm completely bummed that they pushed the release date to August, but hey! A month delay is still pretty much better than waiting until this year's Christmas. They're almost done with it, they just needed a little more time. The animators and actors that work at the studios also need to look out for their health while working hard to complete this final installment we've all been waiting for.
Plus, it's been delayed to my birth month, so I at least will have something to look forward to for my birthday during these difficult times.

I can see where you're going with the whole "beginning of the universe" symbols. That's interesting to think about.
I think maybe Douxie might be half-human, half-wizard (basically like a half-blood). Meaning that, unlike Merlin and Morgana, he would be semi-immortal, as in he can't age when his magic abilities manifested, but he can still fall in battle. So yes, he wouldn't be exactly human, but he would be half-wizard, like how Jim is now half-troll. Due to his half-human heritage, he'd have many loopholes and limitations. We you talk about the Amulet of Daylight, I can see where you're going with that. I could be his journal or something, like a spellbook, a list of ingredients, or yes, an instructions for making a mystical amulet, etc.
Would be an excellent question. Though you could've added humans, too. They're pretty important in the franchise, too, in a way.
