I think we all can assume that Wizards is airing on December 20th, it follows the pattern of the two other shows. And the release is usually confirmed by Netflix a month before the release. Bit it's more like two(ish) days after the date the month before.
So this time on Friday, Wizards could be confirmed and coming(+with a poster). Everything could change in the next two days. How scary is that?
It's highly likely. I also kinda hate how they're practically making fun of our anticipation, making us more impatient with all they've given us. I honestly expected at least a teaser trailer in October, and I was deeply disappointed that they didn't even bother putting one up, unlike Trollhunters and 3Below whose trailers came out in early October.
I'm just guessing, but I think they just wanted to save the best surprises for last, until it really came close to December before launching official trailers and posters to make us more excited. After all, wizards is supposed to be the big finale of this outstanding trilogy, where everything comes together and our year-long questions about all three installments will finally come to light.
I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I still hope your speculation is true. I agree that the potential release date is December 20th (Trollhunters was the 23rd and 3Below was the 21st), which were on Fridays a few days before Christmas, like what everyone else noticed.
I'm kinda hoping that there'll be one part in Wizards where it takes places hundreds of years ago before the Trollhunters and House Tarron. I also hope that the ultimate big bad would be either Morgana or potentially Mordred (voiced by Daniel Radcliffe, for obvious reasons) if he believed to exist in this universe as it's mostly based on Arthurian legends. Or it could be an entirely new villain who's pulling the strings of the villains in order to make him/herself rise to destroy the universe after many villains were defeated by teenagers with special powers and abilities. I just hope that the ultimate battle will be kinda like Avengers: Endgame with the heroes (resurrected and redeemed villains included) battling against past villains (like Bular, Gunmar, Zerons, Morando, etc.) who were given a second chance by the ultimate bad to defeat the heroes and their allies. I think one of the teenagers or one of their allies would have to sacrifice themselves to defeat the dark side (I'm not gonna say who I think it'll have to be, because it'll be too sad for you all to even think about). ;(
Other than that, I still can't wait to hear something soon since it's getting extremely close to December. :D
Didn't the pilot episodes of Trollhunters debut in the end of October? And didn't the trailer come in early October? I think the three(ish) weeks before debut applies here. And the 3Below teaser wasn't even a real teaser(meant to hype up 3below, we were all a little concerned for the show), it was the intro--and it was obvious-- which is why I choose to ignore it so technically we're right on track.
Oh, okay. Makes sense. Honestly, I didn't even know that the pilot episodes came out just two months before officially releasing the rest of Part One (mostly because I was uninterested in Trollhunters when it came out on 2016, until I obviously got completely hooked to the series when Part Two came out and I saw it on a lot of billboards announcing Trollhunters Part Two).
Less than 12 hours, now. Happy Thoughts. Happy, Happy Thoughts!
What do you think?
